Wings India 2026 to be held in Hyderabad

•Wings India 2026, Asia’s largest civil aviation event, is scheduled to take place from January 28 to 31, 2026, at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad.

•This biennial event, organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Airport Authority of India, and FICCI, serves as a global platform for aviation stakeholders, including airlines, manufacturers, investors, and policymakers.

Key Highlights of Wings India 2026 

 1. Theme:

•The official theme is “Indian Aviation: Paving the Future”, focusing on design, deployment, manufacturing, maintenance, inclusivity, innovation, safety, and sustainability.

2. India’s Aviation Growth & Vision:

•India is now the third-largest domestic aviation market and is projected to become the third-largest air passenger market globally.

3. Government Initiatives & UDAN Scheme:

•The UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) scheme has operationalized 619 routes and 88 airports, improving air travel accessibility.

•India’s MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) industry is expected to grow to $4 billion by 2030, with 147 facilities.
