ShakthiSAT mission to train 12,000 girls from 108 nations

The ShakthiSAT mission, launched by Space Kidz India, aims to train 12,000 girls from 108 countries in space technology.

Training Program: The mission includes 120 hours of online training for high school girls aged 14-18, covering various aspects of space technology, payload development, and spacecraft systems.

Satellite Launch: The goal is to launch a satellite under ISRO's Chandrayaan-4 mission. 

Global Participation: Participating countries include the UK, UAE, Brazil, Kenya, Australia, France, Greece, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan, among others.

About the Chandrayaan-4 mission 

The Chandrayaan-4 mission is an ambitious lunar exploration project by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). 

Launch Date: Scheduled for 2027.

Objective: The mission aims to demonstrate technologies for a safe lunar landing, sample collection, and return to Earth. 

Modules: Chandrayaan-4 will involve five modules across two separate launches.

Significance: This mission is a stepping stone towards India's goal of sending an Indian astronaut to the Moon by 2040.
