Ringing rocks with inscriptions discovered at Karakallu Hill

The discovery of ringing rocks with inscriptions at Karakallu Hill near Dharmasagar village in Karnataka is a fascinating find.

 These rocks produce musical sounds when struck, similar to the famous musical pillars at the Vijaya Vittala Temple in Hampi. The boulders are flat and large, with one measuring 8 feet in height and 4 feet in width.

2. Historical Significance: 

 The site contains paintings and carvings, suggesting habitation by early inhabitants around 3000 BCE. It is believed that the musical pillars in Hampi might have been carved using stones from this area.
