Project Kusha Air Defence System

•India is developing Project Kusha, an indigenous long-range surface-to-air missile (SAM) system similar to the Russian S-400 Triumf.

•Project Kusha is expected to cost around ₹40,000 crore.

Expected to be fully operational by 2028-29, marking a major milestone in India’s defence capabilities.
