The 88th Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana will be held in Ballari next year. This decision was made during the executive committee meeting of the Kannada Sahitya Parishat held on December 21, 2024.
Ballari will be hosting the Sahitya Sammelana after 66 years, with previous events held in the district in 1926, 1938, and 1958.
Key Details: History: The first Sammelana was held in 1915 in Bangalore. Since then, it has been held annually in different locations across Karnataka.
Recent Events: The 87th Sammelana was held in Mandya from December 20 to 22, 2024.
