New Delhi has been chosen to host the 2025 Para Athletics World Championships, marking the first time India will host such a prestigious global Para sport event. The event will take place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from September 26 to October 5, 2025.

Participants: Over 1,000 athletes from more than 100 countries. Significance: This will be the 12th edition of the championships and the fourth time it will be held in Asia.
India's Progress: India has shown significant progress in Para athletics, winning 17 medals at the 2023 World Championships in Kobe, including six golds.
