Karnataka's first semiconductor project gets approval

The Karnataka government has approved the state's first semiconductor project, a Rs 3,425.60 crore investment by Silectric Semiconductor Manufacturing Pvt Ltd at the Kochanahalli Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) in Mysuru.

This project is expected to create 460 jobs and is part of a larger plan to attract more investments in the semiconductor sector.
