India-Japan moon project 'LUPEX' cleared
Collaboration:
The mission is a joint effort between the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Japan's space agency (JAXA).

LUPEX is expected to be presented for cabinet approval soon.

Objective: LUPEX aims to explore the Moon's polar regions in search of water and other valuable resources.

Timeline: The mission is part of India's broader lunar mission series, which includes Chandrayaan-1 to 4.

Duration: LUPEX is designed to operate for up to 100 days on the lunar surface, far surpassing the lifespan of previous missions.
