India emerges as top source of foreign direct investment into Dubai

India has become the leading source of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into Dubai, with investments reaching an impressive $3.018 billion in 2024—a significant leap from $589 million in 2023.

This accounts for 21.5% of Dubai's total FDI inflow, surpassing other major contributors like the United States, France, and the United Kingdom.

Key highlights: • Top Sectors for Indian Investment: Business services (26.9%), software and IT services (23.6%), and real estate (6.9%) were among the primary areas of focus.

• Greenfield Projects: India contributed significantly to Greenfield FDI projects, which made up 73.5% of total investments. • Dubai's Global Standing: Dubai retained its position as the world's top destination for Greenfield FDI for the fourth consecutive year.
